Whereas the regional community vessel known as the “Richmond Region” is currently sitting on the rocks of stagnation, having been without a true captain and without a true course for so long, and:Whereas the American Community and the Global Community currently face a combination of natural and man-made obstacles threatening their short and long-term existence, and;Whereas the Richmond Region has been so instrumental and influential in the development of the United States that it can truly be called the Birthplace of Our Nation, and;Whereas the Richmond Region has the exact right combination of community resources – financial, intellectual, spiritual, physical and historical – to become the Re-Birthplace of Our Nation, including being a shining example and a leader for the Virginia Community, the American Community, and the Global Community;

 

Be it resolved that the following Citizen of the Richmond Regional Community,

is hereby drafted to become a Richmond Region Mutineer.  All Richmond Region Mutineers, together, are charged with the task of taking over the community vessel “Richmond Region”, creating a Proud Unified Richmond Regional Community, and then charting a prosperous course for all of the Citizens of the Region, of the Commonwealth, of the Nation and the World.  The draftee understands that Richmond Region Mutineers are expected to be powerful leaders offering unwavering support to our collective home – RICHMOND!
