Our Regional Community is stronger when the Region’s core, its heart – the City of Richmond, the Capital of the Commonwealth – is strong and thriving. In recent past, the City of Richmond has been in decline as the other counties of the Region have emerged. Ultimately, though, the future of the individual counties and certainly the future of the Region is directly linked, forever, to the City of Richmond, SO, in an effort to maximize the potential of the Region, TWS has developed the Nurture the Heart – Support the City Initiative, designed to maintain strong regional interest in nurturing the heart of the Region, the City of Richmond.
