My Personal Mission is to reconfigure the resources of the Richmond Region, creating a community offering every citizen equal access to all opportunities including the inalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; a community where people are judged solely by the content of their character;  a community using the power of its past to positively shape its future;  a community that is a shining example to the rest of the world:  a community considered the best possible place to live, work, and visit.

To achieve my Mission, I have established the following goals:

1. I will offer technical assistance and information access to the citizens, businesses, non-profits, and governments of the Region, helping them achieve and maintain the highest possible level of economic growth and social consciousness.
2. I will maintain consistent support for the public educational systems of the Region to enable them to offer unfettered access to the best possible education for all of their constituents.
3. I will work to cure racial and religious inequity, and promote racial and religious understanding and harmony, by educating Richmonders about the magnificence of the Region’s diverse population.
4. I will motivate Richmonders to be much more involved in strengthening the Regional Community, starting with strengthening their neighborhoods
5. I will use the power of the creative arts to influence all of my efforts.
