Our Regional Community is stronger when more of our citizens, particularly our youth, believe they deserve access and believe they have access to all possible opportunities for advancement, including the inalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Certainly, everyone deserves access to all opportunities, but in many parts of the Richmond Region, opportunities are scarce and perceived opportunities scarcer, SO, in an effort to offer both the greatest amount of access to personal advancement and to increase the level of perceived access, TWS has developed the Richmond Twinning Initiative, designed to use our Twin City relationship with Richmond upon Thames and the 70+ Richmonds of the World to expand the minds of all Richmonders, especially our youth, inspiring a desire to help strengthen Richmond’s future participation and influence in the Global Community.
